Belgium GP - *click heels*

Like everyone returning back to school after the summer holidays, there was lots of gossip to catch up on.  With Alonso announcing his retirement, the opportunity for a proper reshuffle arises.  With Ricciardo already ducking out of a top drive, musical chairs begins.  Gasly and Sainz are the main beneficiaries so far but there will be more...

There's lots to discuss about the start of the Belgium race but not much after that.  After a big pile up behind them, the top first four drivers were four a breast at one point on the first lap.  And two of those cars were Force India or the Team Formerly Known as Force India. 

Alonso was out of his last race at Spa. How many more last chances to see him race are we going to be deprived of?  Anyone going to be tuning into IndyCar now?  Me neither.

Things went from bad (not having enough petrol in the tank to finish qualifying) to worse (a puncture from a shunt) for Raikkonen.  He made three trips to his pit in nine laps and then retired.

After that some cars went round in a circle.
