Again, hope for an interesting race/outcome rested on LeClerc doing well. He didn't. Ferrari made a complacent mistake by not sending him to put in a lap that would qualify. He said he would risk a crash in order to move up the field during the race. Lap 10 gave him a puncture and by lap 19 he was out.
The only other interest came from: Verstappen being given a penalty for an unsafe release in the pit lane, six cars coming to gentlemanly stop at a bend and the ongoing discussion between Hamilton and Bono over his tyres.
Has this race had it's day?
What did we learn this week? Not everyone suits a red baseball cap.
