  1. I can't believe we've gone 19 races into a season and the top three FF1 teams are within four points of each other. 4!! From over 1,100!! That's unreal.

Would be a shame to have come this far and then walk away with pretty much your stake back.

So, in a total breach of protocol, I was going to ask two questions:
    1. Pitstop Princess, because the scores are so tight, would you consider a request from the top three to split the winnings?
    2. If so, how about it NVN and TWCTFWCAUTOG?

Completely appreciate that the judge's decision is final, rules are rules, precedents are dangerous, etc. Was just looking to bring a bit of welcome certainty to such harsh uncertain times...

  2. First of all, i'm pretty concerned about entering into a bargain with a man who can't do basic maths (you're an actuary, right?). Top 3 are within 3 points, which is spectacular after 19 races and given (some) or the different choices made. There's also a tight three-way battle for 4th spot.

I can't give up the excitement of watching on Sunday not knowing who will end up where on the podium. Imagine our disgust if the race was stopped and the top 3 just split the points?

I reckon NVN is the favourite, with Hamilton set to sign off the year in style. Could it be a draw though - what are the rules are rules for that?

  3. First of all of all of all, three is within four, right?
    (Poindexter...)

Yeah, I know what you mean. It might look a bit unsporting or leave a bad taste in the mouth.

Still, if the top three drivers in the race finished within 0.3 seconds of each other, I'd feel like calling that a draw.

Yours, holding out for second regardless of who wins,
